Last Night’s HIMYM was a average episode, this ep has received mixed reviews with some saying it was one of the best HIMYM eps and others saying it was the worst.. i thought it was an average ep as it did have some laughs but had no character development whatsoever.
The ep consisted of event unraveling in the beginning before we find out how it happens which is the style of this show that has helped make this show a hit, i liked this part of the ep as it added to the entertainment.
Lilly and Marshall hosted a house warming party for there new house which turns into a disaster because Barney eats all of the spring rolls that were reserved for Marshall’s boss as he is a vegan which is then blamed on Ted which sparks an argument between the two, this started of boring but as we discover the lead up to the argument was quite funny. Ted wasnt in the spotlight for this ep and didnt have any major story.
Robin let of steam in this episode as ted told her she has anger problems which she denies but later realizes is true, this story was not developed through this ep as the ep was to fast-paced which skips any character development.
Barney was quite funny in this episode as he caused trouble for ted, bragged on about his penis to Robin which he then feared it might be chopped off as Lilly says the girl he is about to sleep with did the exact same thing to her ex.
The episode ends with the Beekeeper catching fire which is Marshall’s boss, which he enjoys as it was something different in his life therefore making the party not a complete disaster other than that the bees took over the house. Barney then has to escape the bedroom while the bees roam the house which is the funniest scene of this ep.
Overall a average ep that has a few laughs but was too fast-paced which lacks character development and has no major plot.
