This week’s The Vampire Diaries was much better than our last outing but still had a few mishaps.
Here’s the top five moments of the night:
1. Stebekah : I really like these two together and wish Stefan would just move on from Elena, and let her be for once.. but i guess that’s not happening! It was nice to see Rebekah bring out a care-free side of him though.. And who wanted more Stebekah sex! As Stefan says.. crazy sex is good.
2. Damon is after Jeremy: Kol continues to wreak havoc on the gang, and tonight we saw him compel Damon into killing him to avoid the haunting curse that follows after killing a hunter. This hunter story has gotten a tad stale.. i really hope it gets back on track soon. The good thing that came out of it was seeing Damon’s friendship change towards Jeremy before being compelled.
3. Bonnie Spins Out Of Control : This was also another particular interesting development of the night.. She finally learned the truth after Professor Shane and after controlling her new found powers she nearly lost it after Shane mentioned her grandmother. Now her dad wants her to seek help.. i hope not, i like seeing this new side of Bonnie and hope it heads somewhere great!
4. Elena wants to kill Kol! Can the gang truly defeat an original? We’ll just have to wait and see.. Elena wishes for it but wants it done by Jeremy! Elena had little to do with this episode though besides come to the rescue for her pals.
5. Silas.. We learned of a mystic story tonight that if they kill of a hunter (aka Jeremy) they could awaken a deadly beast named Silas who could potentially wipe out the entire world.. but that’s a bit to much to think of. But could the writers be planning to kill of Jeremy in the near future!? Or is it just as Damon calls it .. just a spooky fable story.
Overall, a much more interesting episode than last week’s lackluster return.. instead of rehashing, it further enhanced certain ongoing story-lines for the future to come. Let’s hope it regains the momentum we saw early on this season.
