Last night’s episode of Teen Wolf picked up right after last week’s exposing episode.
Let’s take a moment to figure out just what went down, full recap below.
Confusion continues.. This season continues to be the most confusing season ever, with so much Greek mythology being used (if you know your Greek mythology I’m sure you have no problem) but last night yet again incorporated such with Ms. Blake’s mistletoe talk… I still have clue what she was on about.
Ms. Blake’s agenda revealed? Okay at least this was a bit clear, we now know just why the Darach becomes so creepily ugly, yes it is all because Kali (the ugly toenail girl) who actually revealed a vulnerable side for once as she failed to kill Jennifer.
Jennifer was left to die and only found a inch of life through the spiritual tree Lydia had drawn quite a lot this season. The tree allowed her to survive thanks to the sacrifice of pure blood (Derek’s high school crush Paige). This life given allowed her to seek her path of revenge, it also made sense as to why she has such a strong connection with Derek. But can Jennifer trusted after attacking him and kidnapping Scott’s mum?
Mystery solved?.. The whole virgin, philosophers, guardians debacle further became clear last night too as Stiles figured out just what the term ‘guardians’ meant. But it was too little too late as Jennifer (or could it be someone else?) kidnapped Scott’s mum. The question now on everyone’s lips is if Scott will go all the way in trusting Deucalion to find his loved ones.
Love tension. Allison and Isaac continued to subtly show affection for each other whilst Stiles proved that he has a thing for Derek’s sister after pronouncing that the next time they would kiss would be when she was awake. But could next week’s other kiss (watch next week’s promo) spice things up for Stiles love-life?
Side-notes.. How many jump scenes were thrown in last night? Caught me off guard a bit there. Also how many times does Derek have to be unconscious/dead in this show? Lastly, where was Lydia? It’s not a true Teen Wolf episode without her.
