Based on a true story, we follow Marcus Luttrell and his team who are sent on a mission to kill Ahmad Shah, a Taliban leader in Afghanistan. We are then witnesses to Marcus and his team as they are fight for their lives in one of the most violent and brutal efforts of warfare we have possibly ever seen.
This film does not hold back! If you love action and gore, this is one movie which you must see. The raw images and emotions of the navy SEALS will leave you on the edge of your seat with your hands over your eyes while you try to peak between your fingers.
What you see is the best portrayal of the situations which soldiers face during battle. As citizens, most tend to show a blind eye to all the dangerous situations which these people face on a daily basis that it becomes quite hard to swallow that this could ever be a true story.

The images are powerful, accompanied by sorrowful music which draws in the emotions of the audience. It’s almost as if you’re fighting the battle with them as well and every wound they suffer, you’re suffering with them.
Mark Wahlberg’s interpretation of Marcus Luttrell is captivating and respectful as his depiction of Marcus is truthful. We cry with him and we feel pain for him; his performance is intriguing and it gets your attention throughout.
