Another solid episode from HIMYM last night, it finally highlighted all characters of the show and what was going on their lives after a couple of episodes particularly focusing heavily on Barney.
The highlight of this episode was Lily and Marshal, as there was a sense of comedy and emotion in there story lines as Lily had a sex dream with another in which Marshall became jealous, we later found out it was famous taxi driver Ranjit.. although it was all caused from Lily’s pregnancy hormones. And by the end we got a good nice conclusion in that Lily had the dreams because she was wishing for a good father figure for her child in which Marshall was one of. Their gonna be great parents.
Ted continued to live the single life, but now enjoying the comfort of his loneliness .. but of coarse he was again trying to look for the best in his situation. He and Barney began a game debate over who wins most at life, a funny look at past experiences of both characters.. and then we were offered another funny segment of having a legendary night every night (which Barney whipped up to avoid thinking of Quinn and her stripping gig, as he has fallen deeply for her ), it was especially funny to see Ted’s reactions to the most ridiculous events thought up by Barney.
We also learned how Robin finally scored her dream of becoming famous, in which she had to save her self and the pilot after having a seizure.. and after landing the plane she finally gets noticed and is allowed to further her career in the television business. Robin and Ted also mended there awkwardness after staying apart from each other for several weeks after Ted texts her that he is glad she is safe.
Although there were no major development for any characters tonight in terms of story lines, we got a entertaining and humorous episode of the season, let’s see how HIMYM gears up for its finale 3 episodes of the season.
