After 2 weeks we are finally back on to the main story line of finding out the mother, this episode focused on some major character developments and story lines.
‘No Pressure’ picked up right were we left off, were Ted announced his love for Robin, they then shared a kiss but once again admitted to each other it was nothing, or was it? as Marshall may have given a hint to fans for something to think about. We also got some nice flashbacks to past HIMYM Episodes, and a nice montage as Robin moved out of Ted’s apartment with Florence + The Machine’s ‘Shake It Up’ playing in the background.
Barney also had some more development in this episode, as Ted figured that Barney and Robin loved each other but let it go, and he then told Ted that he has moved on and would allow her to date any other guy including Ted. ( Although i think if Barney see’s this he will become jealous and try to win her back) , we also got some nice flashbacks of Barney and Robin. As always Barney added quite some laughs to this episode by trying to find Lily and Marshall’s sex tape which he finds but does not end up watching as Lily and Marshall turn him off of seeing it (funniest scene in this episode).
Lily and Marshall has some great comedy tonight, by having bets with each other when dealing with life situations such as Ted not ending up Robin, which Lily one but Marshall hinted that it may change as he knows they still have some feelings for each other somewhere. They also had the added sex tape story which made up for a quite funny story line.
Overall, a great episode that has outdone recent weeks of otherwise average eps, it provided what HIMYM aims to do, a mix of drama,comedy,heart and emotion.
