Here’s a rundown of the episodes events.
Sage Ruins Blair’s Fashion Show.. How did Serena and Blair not see this coming? There better than this.. It was funny though too see them become sabotaged by an external source rather than both of them sabotaging each other. Blair’s story-line is sort of boring now, were sick of these career story shes had over the past seasons.. just move on and get things going as there is only 7 episodes left.
Dan… How cold was he? He had by far, the most interesting story of the night in his quest to release his gritty book. He even used Nate to get it to go wide, by giving it to Vanity 10 minutes after it gained popularity on The Spectators website, leading Nate to kick him out. He was also particularly cold when it came to love, as Poppi showed some interest in him in which he ignored and took to a random beauty that walked by. I hope to see him fall and recover before the show ends, it will make for some interesting character development.
Chuck.. They continued his boring story-line in gaining his father’s secret.. The only thing i liked about his story last night is his scenes with Blair, as he comforted her in her failure of a fashion show. Chuck works best with Blair, otherwise it just goes downhill. I really hope that they can make this father story-line much more interesting in weeks to come!
Ivy & Rufus.. One Word… WRONG!! It’s quite ugly seeing these two together, she brings out the worst in Rufus as he tried to sue his own son!!! He would never do that, what happened to the good ol’ Rufus we’ve come to love, his better than this and wouldn’t even of thought of dating Ivy.. I guess she’s got him wrapped him around her finger right now.

Overall, another average piece to an average start to Gossip Girl’s final season.. The show needs to pick up pace much more fasterr as we are so close to the finishing line.. Once it finds it feet, I’m sure it will deliver everything it can be!
