Last nights season finale held reminiscence to the early GG days.. Lets take a look of what went down..
Blair chose Chuck, but this time chuck made her fight for him.. Sorry Dair fans.. Looks like its over as we return back to old beginnings. Blair also became owner of the family business but Chuck lost his to his recently returned father.
Serena went back to her old ways of being alone and taking drugs after trying to sabotage her best friend Blair by once again sleeping with her boyfriend after Blair’s diary was leaked onto gossip girl. Lets hope there’s some happiness for her again next season.. This certainly gears us up for the final road of the CW drama.
Lily continued to annoy fans with her snobbish ways, come on? Dumping Rufus just over a little hiccup were he was actually right she goes back to Bart, a person she never had love with .. Just purely for materialism .. I hope Ivy and Lola bring her down and knock some sense back into her.
Dan is after revenge on the Upper East Side after receiving nothing but bad treatment (ex girlfriend using him , Blair dumping him) by continuing to write his novel, but this time in the most controversial way with help from famous conniving Georgina. This is going to be real interesting for the final season..
Finally, Nate was as his usual self, he had little air time in this final, but his presence was strongly felt as he discovered a huge clue into finally revealing the identity of gossip girl. This nailed it in that we are reaching the end of the show as everything is beginning to come full circle.
Overall, it was a great finale (although not one of the shows best) as it set up fans for the finale season and a hint for what were in for, which looks set to be huge as the show starts to come full circle.
