A Short Review for this week’s ep of Gossip Girl…
Another improvement to the season, with last week’s opening storylines gaining momentum..
Here’s a quick recap of what went down..
Serena sabotages her half sister (which she still has no clue of) to gain her new title of GG 3.0
Chuck still hasn’t find out who donated the blood, and found out Elizabeth is not his real mother (its now obvious Diana is his mother).
Blair was freed of her Dowry thanks to Chuck in which she later appreciates after Dan reveals her this news.
She also finally finds happiness and love by being with Dan.
Nate got some greater focus in this episode with his job being treated by Diana, and his relationship with Lola.. but in the end it is resolved as the hiccup in his relationship was actually a plan to bring down Diana.. who later apologizes to Nate and allows him to continue his thriving career. Lola is also gaining momentum in the UES, look forward to seeing how this unravels.
And finally, Lily and Rufus are on the rocks after gaining the apartment back but leaving Ivy Dickens on the streets after promising to allow her to get her frozen assets (Harsh on Lily’s part) .. since she broke this promise with Rufus.. he decides to have a break from there relationship.. looks like they will be getting some more time on screen before the season ends.
Overall, another improvement to the season which again shapes up the finale five episodes of the season, although lacking some major events and drama that gossip girl had always provided.
