Teenage dream and music meister Darren Criss arrives in Australia for the first time this week as he joins yet another Ryan Murphy production, American Crime Story: The Assasination of Gianni Versace. He will play the assassin Andrew Cunanan and has already garnered critical acclaim for the role.
If you can’t imagine sweet Darren in such an intense role, look no further than his previous StarKid credits, his breakout role as Blaine ‘Warbler’ Anderson on Glee or even his Broadway stints in ‘How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying’ or ‘Hedwig and the Angry Inch.’ Oh, and that band ‘Computer Games’ that he formed with his brother Chuck.
Aside from his ACS junket, he will perform to an intimate crowd at the Eternity Playhouse, Darlinghurst in a debut performance for fans down under. Sorry to disappoint you if you were considering purchasing tickets:
