Gambeezy for sheezy has done it again! With his upcoming album “Because of the Internet”, Childish Gambino has generously given us a dose for releasing his latest gem “3005”. And man do we thank him for letting us in for a good time!
Childish Gambino is an upcoming artist with something real to say! Following his previous albums “ROYALTY” and “CAMP”, his continuous flow and pop culture references come nothing of short – from a Lion King reference, to communicating through Viber. It’s definitely a refreshing change to finally hear some issues most can relate to.
The beat starts simple and its catchy (nothing new for Childish) making us focus on his lyrics. As the song continues, the beat becomes intense as it continues to build, however we are still hanging off every word he says. And wow! What a relief – a rapper who can actually sing! His change from rapping to singing brings a nice tone and wave to this song and makes the flow of it easy to listen to.
Not only are his lyrics out of control, however his honesty really shows. For once, there is a real artist, being honest with his fans, reminding us that he is human with flaws and issues of his own. Placing trust in his fans makes us respect him more not only as an artist, however as a person.
His lyrics are inspiring which makes him an artist which you need to watch out for!! I give this song 4 stars out of 5. Keep your eyes on this space for the release date of Childish Gambino’s up and coming album “Because of the Internet.”
