Directed by Natasha Foster and Erin Fairs from Collider, the video features an overwhelmingly bright and colourful backdrop that contrasts the lyrical undertones of personal struggle and heartbreak.
The vibrant coloured house juxtaposed with the sadness of Starley’s voice perfectly captures the eclectic mix of feelings that one experiences following the loss of a relationship and subsequent search for identity. Immersed in brightness yet consumed by internal darkness, “One of One” joins the ranks of Starley’s already outstanding portfolio of songs championing love and acceptance.
