Breaking Dawn Part 1 : Movie Review

This is a late review but was aiming to get it up sometime, so here it is
wasnt expecting anything big from the movie so came as a surprise to me.
The movie starts of pretty slow, which is quite boring for most audiences as talking scenes are dragged out
that dont need to be in the film, all in all the final chapter in the series could of been a 1 show rather than 2 as many scenes feel dragged out with no main plot in certain scenes.
Other than this the other scenes and movie turns out pretty entertaining for those worried that it will be another bore fest.
The movie has a huge improvement to the rest of the saga with cgi and effects becoming much more believable besides the wolf talking scene.
The middle of the film is where the plot starts to unravel more thoroughly and gains momentum, with bella returning back from the honeymoon as she falls ill which was surprisingly done well as the baby impacts her health, which leads into the climatic end of the film which was quite mature by twilight standards with some intense scenes with the birth scene, that has caused a couple seizures for some people in the US.
Overall, a darker and more mature installment to the twilight series which, all though lacking in plot at some points, turns out to be the most entertaining in the series with a great soundtrack to go with it as it includes such hits of Bruno Mars’s ‘It Will Rain’ and Christina Perrie’s ‘A Thousand Years’ with also some reminiscent tracks to the earlier films.
Film Score: 7/10
