“Problem” is probably safe to say the biggest hit from the Nickelodeon star-turned pop-star, as it smashed worldwide records becoming no.1 in multiple countries around the world, including the U.S. and Australia.
Ariana, who previously released a lyric video for the hit-track has now finally dropped the official music video for it, and it’s pure 60’s heaven.
It’s fun, and feels very Austin Powers-ish. It actually reminds me of a scene straight out of one of the films, with that spinning wheel vibe in the background.
Iggy needs more screen-time though, as it felt very like the live-performances of the song in which she just comes in for her part and leaves.
It would of been nice to also have a relationship story-arc, so we could see the pop-diva duo be all fierce and chuck them out of their lives to coincide with “I got 99 problems, but you won’t be one” line. Sorry, Big Sean doesn’t cut it though as he merely just appears to mouth the chorus whisper chant.
But hey! The dancers are hot, she’s stunning and it’s just pure 60’s throwback fun.
