South-African born Australian singer and all round gentleman Nathaniel Willemse was at Marquee Sydney yesterday, there to perform his new hit, Vapours.
As he explained to auspOp, “This single is about being intoxicated by someone, or by an experience. My head space at the time was I just wanted something different, honest and a little rebellious. I wanted to experiment with different sounds and sonic landscapes.”

Formerly an X Factor frontrunner and recently an ARIA certified platinum artist, he got up close and personal with clubgoers and we were even treated with a soulful rendition of Ed Sheeran’s ‘Shape of You’ and fun and funky cover of Bruno Mars’ ’24 Carat Magic’, showcasing Willemse’s versatility and evolving range.
We certainly inhaled the performance!
