We finally have an actual new song from Katy, it’s been a while since the long line of single releases from her smash hit album that was ‘Teenage Dream’ and she’s back with a bang.
The Verdict is that this song is gonna be a hit.
After a recent split from Russel Brand many believe this song to be aimed at him, but it is still unknown as she has not officially stated this.
‘Part Of Me’ is another catchy pop tune from the hit maker, the words ‘this is a part of me’ get stuck in your head, the beat is also classic pop fare. It was premiered at the Grammy’s and continues to climb the charts today. It is definitely one of her great ones in her string of hits. It does get quite repetitive by the end but still manages to have some meaningful lines in it’s verses and a catchy chorus.
Overall, another great hit from Katy Perry, that will no doubt top the charts for several weeks.
