90210 went back to it’s average style episodes after the last couple of great episodes we got, it was still a good episode .. just not as good as the other episodes.
So let’s take a look of what went down.
Annie was falling for the new guy she met who turned out be a priest (Robert Hoffman) but was torn due to his vow of celibacy and commitment to the church therefore effecting their relationship, but doesn’t know how to show her true feelings.. I don’t mind this story line, its fitting for Annie after her string of bad storylines, this one seems much more interesting then the past.
Adrianna finally discovered Dixon’s job acceptance that didn’t include her, she tried her best not to stress Dixon due to his near stroke last week, but couldnt hold it in and before she could reconcile with Dixon after there little argument he has already left on tour with another singer Haley Reinhart making Ade feel even more hurt. It looks like this relationship is heading for further turmoil after seeing next week’s promo.. Lets hope they both find happiness some how.
Ivy was all over the place in this episode as she was grieving after the loss of Raj, She attended Raj’s memorial service with her loved ones, and was given Raj’s ashes by his family which caused her to break down, she was trying to cover her true feelings about Raj until Annie gets the priest to talk to her and comfort her.. which led to a really nice scene with the whole 90210 gang finally together again reflecting on there memories with Raj. But by the end of the episode it seemed it was back to square one for Ivy as she went thrill seeking.. Ivy’s story line are continuing improve but lets hope the writers don’t go ruining her again.
Naomi was head over heels for her new guy PJ, which seemed a bit ridiculous after the major character development Naomi had undergone over time, but 90210 always does this.. and shes engaged , but she doesn’t know PJ is only marrying her to get access to his trust fund which he has told Annie, who feels bad for not being able to tell her. Let’s hope things change cause this plot seems a bit unbelievable.
Finally, Navid returned to the zip code and conniving Vanessa revealed to him about Silver’s cancer gene test.. causing trouble between them to distract her from Liam who later finds out about this and gets rid of her (finally he comes to his senses) but then discovers she has stolen money from him and robbed his bank account. By the end of the episode Silver turns to Liam and they get together, lets see if they actually start dating when the show returns on April 24th. This storyline seems intresting as will be entertaining to see how it unravels with Navid and what further trouble she will cause Liam.
Overall, an average episode after a couple of great ones that still managed to deliver some great story development for some characters for future episodes to come. It should generate more improvement in the next couple episodes as we are down to the last four of the season.
