A quick review for last night’s Glee..
After many dull episodes to the season, we finally got a entertaining episode of glee that had heart to it.
It managed to follow previous story lines, rather than drop them..
Quinn is now in a wheelchair, and got some great scenes with Artie (especially the encouraging scene of scaling the ramp) . She also got some well needed focus after the major plot turn she faced. It looks like we will be getting much more greater character development on her part.
Sue’s baby story line managed to not seem as ridiculous as it had been in past episodes, it actually provided some great comedy for the ep and we also got to see some of the old grumpy Sue that fans have loved.
Finn & Rachel did not get married and continue to struggle in maintaining there future and relationship, another great follow up , rather then leaving it on the back burner in which glee has come to famously do.
Matt Bomer guest starred last night, and rather then be a usefulness guest, we got some great entertainment from him by playing Blaine’s rival brother Cooper, which delivered some nice emotion to the episode with Blaine feeling not good enough or meeting the standards of his brother when in fact his brother was scared he might out beat him in his career. This central focus of the episode allowed for some great humor and heart with some great covers , especially the rendition of ‘Somebody I Used To Know’.
Overall, a good episode to the otherwise average season which answered the questions fans were left with before the season break although particularly focusing on Quinn and Blaine’s relationship with his brother,
which allowed for the show to provide a great warm hearted episode particularly when it comes to family ties and life changes.
