TRACK-BY-TRACK GUIDE:
RIHANNA – UNAPOLOGETIC REVIEW
1. Phresh Out The Runway
A nice intro the album, i really enjoyed the opening of it as it gave the feel of the whole album.
3/5
2. Diamonds
Already loved this tune since the moment i heard it, it’s just so laide back and soulful
from RihRih.
5/5
3. Numb (Feat. Eminem)
Was looking forward to this song for a while, and it turned out good but not great as it just doesn’t go anywhere its pretty much the snippet used throughout.. but still like it.
3.8/5
4. Pour It Up
Kinda bland, no changes and repetitive.. might catch on to me after a number of listens.
2.8/5
5. Loveeee Song (Feat. Future)
Wish Rihanna sang this on her own, Future kind of overtakes Rihanna on her own track with his verses, it could of even better with a cut back of his verses.
2.7/5
6. Jump
Loved the snippet!! and loved the track as it’s an urban explosion with base-pounding beats. The hook of the song will be stuck in your head for days! Also amazing intro to the song, it amps you up before the song even kicks off.

4.7/5
7. Right Now (Feat. David Guetta)
A bit of the good ol’ generic dance music, its a bit of a refresher and change in tone to the rest of the episode and the beat is just so good!
4.2/5
8. What Now
So good, it’s pure classic Rihanna, stripped from the over-powering beats used in TTT and other recent efforts. Just a simply laid back tune.
4.4/5
9. Stay (Feat. Mikky Ekko)
I just love this track! Ballad Rihanna never dissapointes.. we get to hear those amazing pipes she has right here. Micky also adds some flavor to this track as he allows Rih to flow more swiftly and smoothly as he backs-up her vocal. It is definitely the most heartfelt track on the entire album.
5/5
10. Nobody’s Business (Feat. Chris Brown)
Has an MJ feel but fails to live up to this with Chris Brown’s verse, it would of worked much better with just Rih. It also becomes quite repetitive.
2.9/5
11. Love Without Tragedy / Mother Mary
I could listen to the first verse for hours, the second verse is less great but still nice on the ears. Another laid back tune for fans to kick-back and relax to without pressuring there ears.
4.7/5
12. Get It Over With
Def the worst track on the album, it just doesn’t go anywhere and its bland.. No changes, no catchy lyric or beat. The title ironically fits the way you feel when you hear it.
2/5
13. No Love Allowed
A nice reggae track from Rihanna, reminiscent to previous effort ‘Man Down’ but is another average overall.
3/5
14. Lost In Paradise
Another cool little track, good not great.. but a nice way to close the album as it is not to mellow and not to strong.
3.7/5
The Result?
I guess she’s done it again guys, she’s given another solid effort to hold her fans over with a whole bunch of brand new tracks to bump to. Although not completely flawless due to a few weak tracks, its still a worthy addition to the ever-growing collection of LP’s Rihanna has released over the course of 7 years.
