Woah, what a surprising episode of 90210.. Those final scenes literally had my draw dropping, was not expecting that!

Annie & Riley.. Let’s start with the major bombshell of the night as Riley decided to undergo surgery in regaining his ability to walk. Once Annie learned of his new-found idea to go ahead, she tried her best to stop him, knowing the risks that were in place by frauding his insurance company into stopping the surgery going ahead. But Riley was determined and wanted to regain his ability to walk, but the operation failed and Riley lost his LIFE! (I can’t believe how shocked I was at this, as i really thought he would get through it.)
Poor Annie, her misery never ends this season (Brother nearly lost his life, nearly lost her own life and now Riley actually lost his). The question now in place is whether Annie will blame herself now? (i hope not)
Adrianna, Dixon & Megan.. Just when things were looking up between the whole new dynamic, everything was again torn to pieces thanks to a well-intentioned but bad decision by Dixon to “anonymously” fund Megan’s scholarship to go to college.
Megan on the other hand, was trying her best on her own by managing Ade’s career. The two actually started to form a friendship before Ade got her well-deserved paycheck which was actually worth nothing after discovering Dixon’s generous donation to Megan. Judging by next week’s promo it looks like she’s out for revenge, and in typical Ade fashion.
Naomi/Max.. I really felt that these two were already doomed during the early developments of the night before once again making me jump back on the Maxiomi bandwagon once the two came to a realization.
At first when Max revealed he wanted to head back to MIT i was angry and annoyed, and thought Naomi losing it was well deserved as he once again looked beyond Naomi’s needs.
In the end we learned that Naomi was bummed that she never got to be a true child, and who blames her? She was too busy being mature with the life she was dealt with, and felt Maxiomi was reconfirmed with Max’s little gesture of delivering a tiara stating that she deserves to make all her dreams come true (aww!! just when i have hope, they decide to call it quits) Is this truly the end of Maxiomi?
Silver/Teddy.. Teddy you inconsiderate jerk, how could you put Silver through all of this after everything she’s done for you! Fair enough, she did something bad by forging the papers etc. but she doesn’t deserve to be treated that way by someone she truly trusts.
When things look amended once he decides not to destroy her embryo’s he then drops another bomb on her by adding a third party? Way to chuck your friendship in her face!
I really hope this is resolved soon enough, as it’s become an agonizing pain to see Silver go through such a time. Does anyone think Silver and Navid will end up back together though, and actually have a baby themselves? Do you even want Nilver again?
Navid/Liam.. These two were the least interesting of the night, it was still fun but felt a bit random with all the other huge drama going on. The two have now joined a secret society that Teddy’s old boardschool friend runs (Grant Gustin) thank to a little help from Liam’s new brutal boxing ring skills.
Navid just needed more recognition but could this further damage Liam’s downward spiral as we saw him continue his new-found dark streak tonight. Will this new secret society do more harm than good for these two?
Sidenotes.. 1. Lannie fans were treated with a little sweet caring by Liam after Annie checked-out of the hospital. 2. Nice to know that Max & Liam’s videogame went through after all that business drama in the past and 3. How funny was Adrianna’s parody of her own song “Shake Charmer”?.. There was also too many funny quotes tonight to mention.
Overall an intense and bomb-shell filled episode of 90210, that had us glued to the edge of our seats. Everyone’s story-lines began to reach full impact and showed no signs of cooling down. I’m really pleased at the way this season has played out and hope it continues to deliver in the weeks to come.
