After numerous speculation of 90210 ending sometime soon due to low ratings..it has finally been announced on whether or not it will make it for another season.
Well the news is here, and this season is the last-season ever despite Mark Pedowitz stating his a big believer in finale seasons (Ola Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill). I think it’s kind of unfair that there wasn’t a proper send-off after running for 5 years and garnering 100+ episodes but i guess the ratings were far to low this season.
They at least deserve to wrap up with closure. There’s still hope though 90210 fans as the cast are filming the final episode right now. It will be rushed but at least it doesn’t end on a cliffhanger (which would be horrible after being a devoted watcher).
Pedowitz also released this statement on the decision “”The CW has had five great seasons with America’s favorite zip code, 90210,” said Pedowitz. “I’d like to thank the talented cast, producers, and crew for all their hard work and dedication to the series. We are very proud of the West Beverly High alumni.”
There are now only 7 episodes before we say Goodbye to 90210! Thank you to the cast and crew for keeping teen drama and old Beverley Hills 90210 fans happily glued to there televisions every Monday, you have delivered us one satisfyingly drama-filled show over these past 5 years with some really talented actors/actresses and introduced us to some memorable characters (Naomi and Silver probably the most recognizable).
RIP 90210.
Can’t wait to see how it all ends, and who ends up being endgame!
