How I Met Your Mother to a surprising turn last night, it started of as the usual humor route, which was strangely more confusing than usual before leaving us on a much more serious note.

Here were the top 3 highlights of the night below:
1. Robin Outdoes Marshall.. I really enjoyed these two last-night as they battled it out to win the title of having their names placed against special drinks, before Marshall knocked it out of the park went entering a girls bathroom. There was also quote a number of quotes that had be laughing out loud, especially Robin stating that she’s “Sparkles bitch!”. And how hilarious was the dance-off? (despite it’s little screen-time) It was all thanks to a good old push by Lily. Those moves definitely “stepped it up to the streets”.
2. Future Barney and Ted.. This was by far the most confusing concept i have seen on the show, it was just so random! But by the end i really liked how it all took a different route and delivered home a much more meaningful message of moments flying by as we know it and how life changes in a blink of an eye. Also, it was nice to see the contrasting sides of Jayma May’s check-out chick character, which also managed to tell viewers just how strongly 1 person’s impact can have on a person. Nice sentiments tonight HIMYM writers!
3. Will the series finale take a shocking turn? Did anyone else get this strong feeling that something tragic is going to occur to either the mother or Ted? What did he mean by wanting to spend those extra 45 days with her? Maybe i’m just reading to much into it, but yes I’ve read your theories of either one of them dying. Or it could of just meant that he was sick of being lonely. Share some of your theories in the comments.
Overall, it was a much more confusingly meaningful and serious episode of the show that had us wondering just where we could potentially be heading.

What you've written in 3 is exactly what I thought while watching the latest episode. It really sounded a bit like the mother is going to die or something like that. That would be the worst thing to happen after all the waiting for HER. But maybe we're just too pessimistic…
