The A train shows no signs of stopping…

PLL returned for its fifth season this week, and was a jam-packed starter filled with opening new cans of stories.. along with closing a few chapters on others. But in typical Pretty Little Liar fashion had little answers, instead confusing us even more!
Then there were 5.. It’s revitalised the show now that Ali is alive. With her back, I sense the girls are about to go down a familiar path of jealousy, bitchiness, competition and yes, more bitchiness! From what we’ve heard about Ali, she can be a cold one. So far though, she seems to have turned over a new leaf.
It’s nice though, to have another girl to help them out instead of the four girls continuly making silly mistake, one after the other. Not that Ali didn’t have her fair share of silly moments during the premiere either.
Ezra pulls through.. Yep everyones favourite Fitzgerald has pulled through, well he can be considered favourite again after the writers made us hate him last season. Were now back to sympathising with him, and watching Aria burn with passion over him yet again. Just please, if they get back together again.. please be a mystery solving duo, and not a lame-ass boring relationship subplot.
Bye CeCe.. Ali continued to show her caring streak by giving up her passport and allowing CeCe to escape punishment. So CeCe got her return from Ali and jetted off too France. See ya CeCe, it was nice to have you around.. even if you just dropped in here and there.
Aria a murderer? I didn’t think Shana would be killed off like that, especially Aria delivering the final blow. I think this is the first time Aria has committed murder? Well, it was self-defence and what else could she had done, it was either her or losing one of her friends.
This won’t play out well though as A will use this as another secret to bring down the girls.
Is A dead? Unlikely. Who in their right mind would think she is A! A-Team, sure but not A herself/himself. If it was her, that would be a letdown after all that buildup. After all, wasn’t she just attacked by A last season?…
Meanwhile, Mona seems to be building her army to get payback on Ali now that she’s back. Of coarse, it was revealed that Lucas was apart of the revenge bandwagon, along with Spencer’s sister Melissa and Paige! (even though she resisted a bit).
Side-Notes: How many cringe-worthy moments did you spot during the premiere? I’ll give you two:
1. The ruined suspense that was the A gang attack.. the whisper talk was kind of spooky but why did that ambush have to happen?! Grr.. 2. Umm, how did the girls just enter the hospital and right away spot A?! Come on Hospitals aren’t that small! #fail.
An engaging season 5 setup premiere episode, that suffered from the typical lack of answers (*cough* Ali’s mum being buried alive). With the show being renewed for yet another 2 seasons, we may continue to suffer from A-nswer deprivAtion..
