So, to keep her maiden name alive, Tina named her little girl after her surname. Roland Beyince, Bay’s uncle, shared the story with the world during the 2013 premiere of “Life Is But a Dream”, a documentary about her life.
She competed in singing competitions
When she was just 12, Beyoncé appeared in a series called “Star Search”, a singing and dancing competition, with her singing troupe Girls Tyme. Even though the group received good scores from the judges, they still lost to another group, Skeleton Crew.
