What with news of a Harry Potter prequel potentially starring Kit Harrington as greasy haired Snape (in his younger, formative years), we had to go snooping around for more Potter prequel news.
Filming will commence in February 2020, after a series of jagged start dates pegged by constant tweaks to the script. Dan Fogler (Jacob Kowalski in the series) has stated that he’s heard that JK Rowling is “writing furiously”.
In an interview with Comicbook,.com, he said “I hope that he gets Queenie back. … I haven’t seen a script yet, and I’ve lost a significant amount of weight, and I think it will be funny if — you know how she put a spell on me to follow her around like a puppy?” Fogler said.
Previous film The Crimes of Grindlewald pulled in $653 million at the box office, compared to the opening initial franchise’s $812.5 million.
