Yep you heard that right, after the success of Queen biopic ‘Bohemian Rhapsody‘ there is now talks of a ‘darker’ sequel!
According to Page Six, filmmaker Rudi Dolezal who also directed a bunch of Queen music videos revealed that a sequel to the award-winning flick is “being heavily discussed in the Queen family.”
Dolezal went on to reveal that band manager and producer of the hit film, Jim Beach is keen on making a sequel that will pick right up from the band’s iconic Live-Aid performance.
If green-lit, the sequel could potentially follow Freddie Mercury’s (whom Rami Malek would likely reprise) final years and perhaps look at life for Queen post-Mercury.
It is although yet to be confirmed by studio execs whether or not there is any truth to the wild rumours.
