The triple numbers that hold a major spookiness to many has kicked off  , but did the show follow in the steps of it’s spooky digits…
666 Park Avenue turned out to be less spooky than expected, but had much more drama going on.. it’s not necessarily a bad thing as it makes the show even more intriguing.. Here’s a rundown of the highlights during the season premiere.
The opening scene… Is anyone curious as to what was up with the violinist? He had blood on his hands and tried to escape the Drake but literally swallowed him back instead.
Maybe there will be more on this particular mystery as the show progresses.
Gavin  (Terry O’ Quinn) and Olivia (Vanessa Williams)… We now know that these 2 are established as the most shadiest characters of the show.. but please make Gavin more original.. If he ends up being the devil or some other major evil force it will be particularly cliche and predictable. Olivia has more depth after revealing to Jane that she lost her daughter and tempting to Jane into buying that $4000 dollar dress.
Jane (Rachael Taylor) and Henry (Dave Annable)… I like these two, they really seem innocent and unaware as to what there getting themselves into.. Jane is more morally grounded and may be even smarter than Henry to resist temptation but all will tell in time.
The thief.. The young girl seems mysterious as she warned Jane that there is a thief in the building, but was in fact her? and that end scene were she had a vision of Jane being chased.. What was that all about?? It made me even more curious to keep watching.
The side-couple.. The young artistic couple introduced in the pilot was less intriguing, and kind of dragged the episode down with all the other interesting plots going on. The mysterious girl in the window seems to be tempting the writer to give into temptation. The only interesting develop to come out of it was when the girlfriend caught onto his liking of her which prompted the Drake’s elevator to almost crush her to death. It was unexpected and gave their story more hope into becoming better in the weeks to come.
The signing of the contract… This part had be most excited as we know now that the new couple is in for a whole lot of horrors.. i wish i could be there and so DON’T SIGN THE DAMN THING.. but then there would be no show. I really look forward to seeing the fallout they now face for signing the contract as vision warned her that there’s no escape now.
Overall, a good start to a could-be fun horror/drama series that managed to keep viewers wanting more after  providing a few intriguing new plot-lines and stories. Although, not an entirely great start to the show.. it possesses some good potential into becoming a new hit.
