Fight The Sun have dropped their debut EP and they chatted exclusively with us about it.

The Melbourne trio talk about everything from their favourite concerts, music inspo to their EP and tour! Read the whole interview below.

  1. Fave current song and inspirations?

Run Rabbit Run by Black Map. Currently inspired by Death From Above 1979, Led Zeppelin, Marmozets, Refused, coffee (good or bad), lack of sleep.

  1. What inspired your new EP and hidden meanings?

Not so much hidden meanings but we’ve heard different interpretations of what the songs could be about. For us they’re about fear, control, evolution or lack thereof, toxic people.

  1. Most memorable concert?

So many to choose from. Standouts would be my first concert (AC/DC) Shihad at the Northcote Social Club. Small sweaty room, intense AF. Foo Fighters at the old Palace, a last minute, ‘secret’ gig hearing the songs off There’s Nothing Left to Lose pre release especially opening with Stacked Actors.

  1. And major plans for 2018?

Videos, more shows, next EP. Lots of things in the works.
