You might think that Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine and Alan Arkin don’t have much left to give to the film industry. Boy, are you wrong!
Going in Style is a film that follows three pensioners living in New York City. Neither of them expect to live longer than 10 more years and are just trying to love out their lives in peace, play bowls and sit in their favourite diner and eat pie. That all changes when their pension fund is disolved when the company they used to work for dissolved the account. So what do they decide to do? Rob a bank, of course!
The movie is really well produced, well written and funny. Not surprising when you learn that Zach Braff (Scrubs) directed and produced the film. The entire movie helps your realise your morality, and is entirely relatable (especially if you’re getting older!). Our verdict? Grab your parents, some popcorn and check this movie out, it’s in cinema’s Friday.
