Shawn Mendes – ‘Illuminate’ (Album Review)

We are in stitches over Shawn Mendes’s new album…

Shawn Mendes has become quite the sensation (particularly among teen girls) and rightly so.

His voice is amazing and he looks like his come straight out of the 90’s, except he is just 18 years old!

Mendes first entered the scene with “Something Big” and then catapulted airwaves with “Stitches”. Quite an achievement already!

Now his gone ahead and dropped his sophomore album, titled ‘Illuminate’ and it is full of catchy and emotional tracks.

Highlights include the soulful “Ruin”, anthem “No Promises” and the smooth “Don’t Be A Fool” along with high emotion tracks like “Like This”. There is plenty more which you can see below in our fave chosen tracks.

And we got to say DAMN at his vocals on his current hit single “Mercy”. Yep Shawn did THAT!

He even addresses growing pains on closing track, “Understand” with a deep monologue on becoming an adult. *sobs*

Girls (and boys) will be feeling all sexual too with “Lights On” as he sings “I want to love you with the lights on, darling I wanna see every inch of you.”

Whew, boy! You’re probs gonna need some ice after hearing it.
