Australia’s sweetheart, Dami Im, has gone from the teacher that we fell in love with on X-Factor to representing the country at Eurovision and now has made her way into Hollywood and is appearing in the Australian Version of the upcoming movie TROLLS.
Dami is joining super stars Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick in the DreamWorks animated movie in the small but significant role of Grandma Rosiepuff, Justin Timberlake’s character’s grandmother.
Dami said, “I’m very excited to be involved in DreamWorks’ TROLLS alongside such an amazing cast. I had so much fun recording my small part and it’s an honour to voice Justin Timberlake’s Grandma! I can’t wait for everyone to see the film, and get immersed in this incredibly fun, colourful, music-filled world.”
Dami will be walking the red carpet this Sunday with Justin Timberlake at the premiere of the movie in Sydney and joins an amazing voice cast including Zooey Deschanel, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Russell Brand, Jeffrey Tambor, James Corden, Icona Pop, with John Cleese and Gwen Stefani. The movie includes an infectious which is produced by Justin Timberlake and features original music, including his #1 worldwide smash Can’t Stop The Feeling!, along with new tracks from Ariana Grande and Gwen Stefani, and a number of classic hits from the ‘60s – ‘80s performed by the cast.
